Ford Motor Company has teamed up with Green Festivals to award a $5,000 Community Green Grant in Chicago this spring! The deadline to submit for the Chicago Ford Community Green Grant is April 26th.
New in 2013, four selected semi-finalists will each receive $1,000 to help fuel their goodwill efforts. If you work, volunteer or know of a local deserving non-profit that is innovative and forward-thinking, be sure to submit your organization’s application for a chance to win by clicking here.
Just three quick steps to apply:
- (1) Download PDF application here
- (2) Complete the application for your organization (must be downloaded and saved as a PDF prior to filling out)
- (3) Send your completed application, along with your organization’s logo to firstname.lastname@example.org.
No idea is too big or too small, but to be considered, the organization must be local, innovative and a certified non-profit. Before each event, a panel from Green Festivals and Ford Motor Company will select a group of five finalists to present their proposals in the Ford Pavilion at each festival.
Festival attendees are encouraged to cast their vote for their favorite organization. Vote online throughout the week leading up to each event and on-site at the Ford Community Green Grant Booth. Votes will be tallied and the winner will be announced on Sunday afternoon.
