Dr. Corinna Basler - President
Dr. Corinna Basler
As President, Dr. Basler brings over ten years of experience in international corporate business strategy, marketing, branding, communications and corporate social responsibility. She also serves as Vice President of the parent company, Messe Stuttgart, Inc. Corinna’s commitment to sustainability is both professional and personal, as she has been vegetarian for over twenty years. If time allows, she is also a passionate long distance runner.
Karen Ferrel - Partner and Sponsor Director

Karen joined Green Festival in 2011 and brings 20 years of sales, marketing and hospitality experience managing the Exhibit and Sponsorship sales team. She enjoys making culinary masterpieces, photography, tending to her garden, tinkering with her 65 gallon planted fish tank, in-depth conversations with her 3 cats and long walks with her German Shepherd.
Molly Boyce - Graphic Designer
Molly comes to us with six years of graphic design experience and a lifetime study of and passion for the visual arts. She graduated with a B.F.A in Art Education with a concentration in Painting and Drawing from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) and an Associates in Graphic Design and Advertising from Wake Technical Community college. In her free time, she enjoys hiking/camping, concerts, watching sports, whiskey & wine, traveling, and spending time with her wonderful and incredibly supportive family.
Bob Redding - Operations Coordinator
Bob Redding spent most of his life living in working in the Charleston, SC Hospitality Industry. Bob is an Alumni of the College of Charleston, a beverage industry sales representative and Hotel/Restaurant General Manager prior to opening his first Restaurant in 1997. As an Entrepreneur, he transitioned to owning a Corporate Event Planning Company in 2005. Bob has worked with such clients as Arthur J. Gallagher Benefit Services, Kessler Collection Hotels and Theatre Charleston.
Kristen Allen - Head of US Sales

Kristen holds a BFA In Fine Arts and comes from 11 years of professional sales and tradeshow experience. She is a New Englander turned Southerner and is prone to singing, dancing, attending concerts, eating gluten-free, health and sustainability, traveling, nature-loving, creative activities, philosophy and any adventures that come her way!

Amelia-Betts, proud mother of two adorable kittens, serves as Green Festival’s Chief Morale Officer and resident Art Historian. After graduating from Sewanee University in 2010, she decided to return to the beguiling mountains of Asheville, having spent her childhood summers romping around the North Carolina wilderness. Her hobbies include kitten-kissin', chocolate consumption and quoting Tombstone.

Eric graduated from Appalachian State University with a BSA in Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He hails from Sylva, NC and his list of activities that includes, but not limited to, being an avid sports fan (Go Carolina Panthers!) , adventuring through the outdoors, attending concerts, and trying out new breweries. He is excited to be a part of the Green Festival team!

I have been very lucky to have built my career through a wide range of amazing industries that are passionate to me, from Symphony Orchestras to Academia; but, none are as passionate to me as the mission of Green Festival.
Sally Custer - Portland Regional Director

Sally has established herself as a creative visionary and communications expert with access to top-ranked industry resources through her professional relationships and ongoing accomplishments spanning four decades. As principal of Lupin Communications, her success leading marketing campaigns, along with community outreach is demonstrable. This along with a highly successful history of media and corporate sponsorship recruitment, coordination and fulfillment, makes vision, big-picture thinking and innovation a reality.
Marielle Angell - Strategic Partnership Associate
Strategic Partnership Associate
Marielle has been a resident of Asheville for 14 years and resides with her two sweet and funny children, lil dog "Fiddlle," and her talented and supportive partner. She is currently completing her capstone for her Masters of Science in Science of Sustainability Studies from the Lenoir Rhyne Center for Graduate Studies. She very much enjoys taking part in community action especially in the realm of sustainable agriculture; she is one of the creators of the Asheville Alternatives to Pesticides Coalition and has apprenticed in chemical-free bee keeping.
Samantha Marie - Volunteer Director
Born and raised in Washington, D.C, Samantha Marie came aboard the team in 2014 as Assistant Manager of Volunteers. Samantha resides in New York City where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Interior Design at the Art Institute. With a strong passion for design, solid background in event logistics and love of volunteer management with the Green Festivals Samantha has been welcomed aboard as our National Director of Volunteers.
Jensen Gelfond - IT Administrator, Asheville Digital Lifestyle

Jensen Gelfond of Asheville Digital Lifestyle provides technology setup, support and training at the Green Festivals home office in Asheville. When away from the computer, Jensen loves getting outdoors to hike, backpack, and play soccer.

Jim brings over thirty years of experience in accounting, finance and human resource to Green Festival. He specializes in reporting, budgeting, analysis, auditing, and event reporting.
Tamara Diamond - San Francisco Regional Director
San Francisco Regional Director
Tamara is a California native and long-time Green Festival enthusiast. She is a connector and bridge-builder who enjoys meeting people across multiple industries while growing the green (and socially responsible) economy. She has consulted for businesses on the impacts of socially responsible purchasing. Previous work includes Bay Area Green Tours and Acterra’s (PCCF) Business Environmental Awards Program. She earned a BSC in Environmental Design (San Diego State), certificate in Recycling and Waste Management (UCLA), and status as a LEED Green Associate (USGBC).
Amy Galper - New York City, NY Regional Director

Amy has been passionately engaged with essential oils and natural beauty for over 12 years. She is the owner of Buddha Nose, an award winning yoga-inspired brand of mind-body-beauty products and Executive Director of the New York Institute of Aromatherapy. She has been a strong and visible advocate for safe, toxic-free beauty and body care products for over 14 years. Pascale Coupal-Sikes - Los Angeles Regional Director

Pascale Coupal-Sikes has been involved with Green Festival since 2011. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and received her B.A. at UC San Diego in Psychology and Environmental Studies. Fluent in Spanish, she studied permaculture in Costa Rica. She brings over 8 years experience organizing local and international events which focus on sustainability, social justice, gender equality, and community development.
Karen Baker - Washington, D.C. Regional Director

Karen has been a strategic and experiential marketing consultant for the past seventeen years, having done work for company icons, large arts organizations, AIDS/HIV causes, and elementary education. She recently designed the first farmers market on the Route 1 Corridor in MD. Karen is an advocate for alternative health practices, and she owned a tea business for five years. She holds an MA in Design Management from SCAD and an MTA in Event Management from GWU.
Alisa Gravitz - President/CEO, Green America

For nearly 30 years, Alisa Gravitz has led Green America, the national green economy organization. Ms. Gravitz is a leading expert on how families and businesses can “go green,” saving money and resources. She is also a nationally recognized leader in the social investment industry. She authored Green America’s acclaimed Guide to Social Investing, with over a million copies in print and the popular Guide to Community Investing.
Denise Hamler - Director, Green Business Network at Green America

Denise Hamler is the director and co-founder of the Green Business Network at Green America. She has held senior marketing and publications positions and launched social media programs such as Green Deals, the successful green GROUP.ON. She serves as the publisher for Green America’s publications: The National Green Pages and Green American magazine.
Kevin Danaher - Co-Founder, Global Exchange
Co-Founder, Global Exchange
Dr. Kevin Danaher is the Executive Director of Friends of SF Environment, the non-profit arm of the San Francisco Department of Environment. He is a co-founder of Global Exchange (1988) and co-founder of FairTradeUSA (1997). His 1985 PhD in sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz was based on his dissertation, “The Political Economy of U.S. Policy Toward South Africa.”
