Thanks to the public's online votes and our attendees' votes, Cafeteria Culture received a $5,000 grant from Green Festival Expo to expand their efforts on helping cafeterias become a zero waste environment! Cafeteria Culture (CafCu), founded as Styrofoam Out of Schools, is working creatively and collaboratively to achieve zero-waste school cafeterias. Cafeteria CultureCafeteria Culture's "SORT2saveKIT" is a free multimedia resource for 1.1 million NYC students using engaging videos and curriculum to empower students as Cafeteria Rangers and leaders.
