Rachel Kaplan is a leading eco-somatic therapist who works with individuals, families and groups to create generative approaches to the challenges and opportunities of daily life. Her former life as an improvisational dancer informs her current life as a healer, educator, activist, inspirational speaker, permaculture designer and mother—bringing flexibility and spontaneity to the ever-evolving practices of sustainability. She is the author of Urban Homesteading: Heirloom Skills for Sustainable Living (with K. Ruby Blume), as well as The Probable Site of the Garden of Eden, and Diaspora: Stories from the Cities.
