Colorado State University is a global leader in clean and renewable energy solutions. Campus efforts include building one of the first university-owned wind farms to provide enough power for the campus and surrounding areas plus converting university fleets to biofuels. On the research front, scientists are solving global issues with new spinoff companiesfrom creating clean burning cookstoves to reduce indoor air pollution in India and Nepal to retrofitting two-stroke engines to improve outdoor air quality in the Philippines to $1/watt solar panels. CSU recently developed a new business model to expedite the process of moving cutting-edge research to the marketplace. On display at the CSU booth will be products developed from university research that are currently helping improve the world's environment, information about CSU's new School of Global Environmental Sustainability, and professional development programs in sustainability. Also on display will be several recycled fashions designed by CSU students majoring in design and merchandising. In the Kid's Zone, CSU's Little Shop of Physics and the Colorado State Forest Service Puppet Show will be performing during the event.
