Over 100 years later, Ford continues its commitment to providing its customers with environmentally friendly solutions. At this year’s Green Festivals, you’ll have the chance to be one of the first to get behind the wheel of the all-new Ford Focus Electric. The Focus Electric gets all of its power from an advanced high-voltage lithium ion battery system, which means you’ll never need a drop of gas. Its electric motor is designed to help reduce energy loss and heat generation, while producing zero CO2 emissions. Using a 240 volt charging station, the Focus Electric is able to achieve a full charge in just 3 to 4 hours, making it best-in class for charge time.
Be sure to join Nancy Gioia, Director of Global Electrification at Ford Motor Company, at New York Green Festival to talk about Ford's current and future electrified vehicle fleet, how organically-based sustainable materials are being incorporated into its vehicles, and how Ford is looking to the future of personal mobility.
Nancy will speak on the Drive Green Stage in the Ford Pavilion at 11am and 3pm on Saturday. April 21, and 11am and 1pm on Sunday, April 22.
