Dr. Corinna Basler, President of Green Festivals, Inc., spoke with enthusiasm about bringing the expo to Portland, OR for the first time in Green Festivals 14 year history! After years of surveys and listening to all feedback Green Festival has decided to bring the expo to Portland on December 11-13th at the Oregon Convention Center. With over 200 exhibitors already booked for Portland Green Festival estimates 10,000 in attendance throughout the weekend. B2B business education sessions start Saturday and Sunday morning at 8:30 am which are free for exhibitors and a small fee for attendees. The Portland Green Festival will feature a new 'local marketplace' where attendees can learn about and purchase products produced locally. Corinna Basler highlighted the Green Festival Award ceremony bringing awareness to the different opportunities the show provides. The Green Festival "Saves Lives Campaign" initiative providing attendees with the opportunity to adopt homeless pets, is a way for everyone to learn more about pets for adoption in the community and encourage all to adopt, not shop for pets. Other awards at the show include the Green Festival Community Award and Green Festival Brand Award. Winners will be announced Sunday at 3:30pm at the Green Festival Stage. We are proud to announce that our expo will be operating on clean energy through our partnership with Arcadia Power, ensuring the event is as 'green' and sustainable as possible.
