Dr. Corinna Basler

Position: President

Corinna brings over 15 years of experience in international business strategy, marketing, branding, communications and CSR (worked in Europe, Asia and the United States) and holds a Ph.D in Business Science. She is deeply passionate about animals and has traveled to nearly hundred countries.

Neil Mork

Position: Business Development and Online Store Manager

Neil is a long time arts and music enthusiast with an admiration for creativity and outside of the box thinking.

Amelia Betts Maxham

Position: Exhibit and Sponsor Sales and Relations

Amelia-Betts, proud mother of two adorable kittens, serves as Green Festival’s Chief Morale Officer and resident Art Historian.

Lisa Landes

Position: Social Media and Marketing Director

Graduating from Kennesaw State University with an Organizational Communications Major I have experience in social media, marketing and event planning. I love hiking and anything that has to do with the outdoors, great vegetarian food and traveling to new places.

Paul Noblin

Position: Operations Director

Paul is an avid traveler with over 16 years of experience as an Event Technician. He has a deep passion for photography, music and hiking.

Theresa Marie McKenzie

Position: Sponsor Relations and Partnership Management 

Theresa Marie brings with her 10+ years of working in customer service with an additional 6 years marketing vegan certified, Swiss-based health and wellness products through Arbonne International. She is currently finishing her Master's of Science degree in Sustainability Studies here in Asheville at Lenoir-Rhyne University's Center for Graduate Studies. Her passions lie in helping individuals and communities transition into more sustainable lifestyles and she considers herself an activist for all living species.

Laura Varney

Laura has a diverse sales background and has a passion for communication and learning.

Kerri McCoy

Position: Exhibit and Sponsor Sales and Relations

After wanting to live in Asheville for a decade, Kerri finally packed up her belongings and her best friend/furry pup, Junior, and took the plunge from Atlanta to Asheville in June 2016. She has a diverse career in sales, marketing, public relations and education and is excited to be a member of the Green Festival Expo team. She loves hiking with her dog, trying out new restaurants, going to concerts and music fests and travelling. 

Martha Rutherford

Position:Exhibit and Sponsor Sales and Relations

Martha Rutherford is an experienced Sales Associate who joined the Green Festival Expo team in 2017. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Martha has called Asheville home for 11 years. Martha loves spending time in the outdoors with her dog, Keefer and enjoys hiking, good food and listening to live music.

Molly Boyce

Position: Graphic Designer

Molly comes to us with six years of graphic design experience and a lifetime study of and passion for the visual arts. She graduated with a B.F.A in Art Education with a concentration in Painting and Drawing from East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) and an Associates in Graphic Design and Advertising from Wake Technical Community college.

KATHRYN GILES

Position: Exhibit and Sponsor Sales and Relations

Kathryn is a lifetime lover of beets, bears, and Battlestar Galactica. She enjoys vegetarian cuisine, autumn-day hiking, and her furry feline friends. Graduating with her Master’s in Entrepreneurship, she hopes to one day move Northeast to build her own company.

Marielle is a long time community action enthusiast. She has worked over the years with several social justice and environmental working groups and enjoys connecting great people and organizations.

Samantha Marie

Position: Volunteer Director

Born and raised in Washington, D.C, Samantha Marie came aboard the team in 2014 as Assistant Manager of Volunteers. Samantha resides in New York City where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Architecture at the Academy of Art University.

Jensen Gelfond of Asheville Digital Lifestyle provides technology setup, support and training at the Green Festivals home office in Asheville.

Jim Golden

Position: Head of Controlling

Jim brings over thirty years of experience in accounting, finance and human resource to Green Festival. He specializes in reporting, budgeting, analysis, auditing, and event reporting.

Pascale Coupal-Sikes

Position: Los Angeles Regional Director

Pascale Coupal-Sikes has been involved with Green Festival since 2011. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and received her B.A. at UC San Diego in Psychology and Environmental Studies. Fluent in Spanish, she studied permaculture in Costa Rica.

Karen Baker

Position: Washington, D.C. Regional Director

Karen has been a strategic and experiential marketing consultant for the past seventeen years, having done work for company icons, large arts organizations, AIDS/HIV causes, and elementary education.

Scott Luxor

Position: New York Regional Director

Scott Luxor has been actively involved with the NYC Green Festival for five years, ever since it was introduced in New York City. Scott has served as a volunteer organizer and Brand Ambassador (2016). Scott is a veteran journalist with over 20 years of experience in newspapers and digital news delivery.

For nearly 30 years, Alisa Gravitz has led Green America, the national green economy organization. Ms. Gravitz is a leading expert on how families and businesses can “go green,” saving money and resources. She is also a nationally recognized leader in the social investment industry. She authored Green America’s acclaimed Guide to Social Investing, with over a million copies in print and the popular Guide to Community Investing.

Kevin Danaher - Position: Co-Founder, Global Exchange

Dr. Kevin Danaher is the Executive Director of Friends of SF Environment, the non-profit arm of the San Francisco Department of Environment. He is a co-founder of Global Exchange (1988) and co-founder of FairTradeUSA (1997). His 1985 PhD in sociology from the University of California at Santa Cruz was based on his dissertation, “The Political Economy of U.S. Policy Toward South Africa.”
