Over the past 15 years, Bishton has designed public and private gardens throughout the Seattle area, and created numerous children's outdoor education programs. Bishton's garden writing has been featured in local and national magazines and websites, and she is a regular speaker for Seattle Public Utilities, the Green Gardening Program, Saving Water Partnership, and other community organizations. Dr. Biter received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University at the Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine in 1997, where he was named the Most Outstanding Graduate entering the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Continuing his post-graduate medical training and residency at Pennsylvania State University, he was recognized as Best Resident Educator and Best Chief Resident by the nursing staff. Dr. Biter was awarded the American Medical Association Foundation Leadership Award and the National Health Service Corps Scholarship. Dr. Biter is opening Babies by the Sea Birthing Center in Southern California with plans to open nationwide.
